Enjoyed this really comfortable stay for short business trip. Stayed here with my family members and everything was good. The location was unbeatable and easy, just a short walk away from The Quay. Furthermore, the area was great.

The experience delivered by your hotel and staff for my daughters wedding on the 18th June 2011 was exceptional. The food was excellent, the service was great and the organisation was impeccable.I Travelled from Southampton with my partner and we had a very nice stay in your hotel.Thank you again for a great day that made my daughters wedding go without a hitch.
The only thing that I can think of that I was not too happy about was the fact that I booked my room via the internet over 2 months before the wedding and it cost £187 for a twin room. When we arrived at the hotel the place is very nice in a gorgeous setting of mature gardens however even though I had book so far in advance the room we were given looked out onto a very grotty roof and a shed and someone's back garden.I Feel that this is not the sort of thing I expected from such a grand and may I say rather expensive hotel. I would love an explanation as to why after taking the time to book well in advance I was given a room especially as it was my daughter spending a great deal of money in your hotel did I get a room with such a poor view?

Dinner in the restaurant is great. Have visited several times and always look forward to dinner. Free WiFi in all rooms, and complimentary newspaper in the morning. Close proximity to Exeter Golf and Country Club.
Some of the single rooms are quite small. I guess that goes with 'single room' territory and although it doesn't bother me, it might be an issue for some people.

Delicious breakfast for a decent price, located just a quick taxi ride away from the main train station in a peaceful neighborhood. 🌟

Nice location, plenty of parking space. Hotel room very nice. Staff very friendly and obliging. Would recommend the hotel but not recommend eating there.
Room very hot. TV only played ITV3. Food in the restaurant was disappointing - steak too seasoned (salty) and the oil needs changing that the chips were cooked in.

The ease of parking and very good reception area, the actual room booked looked very nice and there was obvious attention to detail.
There was a wedding function on and the room was directly above the DJ. Asked to change and took a lower value room. When tried to explain this in the morning ie: it would be better to tell visitors about functions going on but the receptionist said this was impossible. - As such would not stay there again.

Staff very pleasant, nice bar area, room in very good order and nicely decorated. Convenient for city centre and ample parking.
Room was unbearably hot - the second time I have stayed at the hotel now and it has been the same both times; will not be staying again for this reason. Also be aware that if you stay on a weekend there are likely to be wedding parties etc going on. A shame as it all detracts from what would otherwise be a very nice hotel.
